“The best thing to hold onto in life is each other” - Audrey Hepburn
Spring is the perfect time to start creating space in your home. Say so-long to Winter with a fresh leap towards sunnier days.
So before you tuck your winter woolies to the back of the wardrobe, lets stop for a minute. What have you passed by on the way to your closet?
‘I must get rid of that’, ‘I never wear those jeans’ and ‘I wonder how long I have to keep that hideous vase for’. Holding onto so many ‘things’ is actually very visually disruptive.
Every time we step around a mess we are avoiding, or a pile of clothes that needs sorting- we are simply enabling a space for negativity. This is not only unhelpful to how we think ,but also to how we live.
Freeing up space, means freeing your mind for the things that matter the most. This is incredibly empowering. If you can achieve great energy and happiness at
home, theres no end to what you can do.
"The mind is everything. What you think- you become" - Buddha.
Start Spring off on the right foot. One corner at a time. Creating space and organisation leaves a visually clear and happier home. Not everything has to happen today. But today is the best place to start.
So lets do it- lets begin to make space for what matters. Then smile, because you made that happen.
Tip of the week - Start small.
Pick out an item around the house that you haven’t touched in months. Sell it, gift it or bin it! Feel the sense of relief! You’ve just begun steering your home toward a fresh beginning!
